About This Activity
SVCP's NSS Rural Awareness Programme sends student volunteers to surrounding villages for week-long immersive camps. Volunteers conduct sessions on health literacy, basic hygiene, women's health, child nutrition, government welfare schemes, and digital banking. The programme has a proven track record of creating sustained behavioural change in the communities it reaches, and is a model for university-community engagement in the region.
