About This Activity
The NSS unit of SVCP organised a comprehensive Rational Use of Medicine campaign reaching households, pharmacies, and community health centres in surrounding villages. NSS volunteers — pharmacy students — conducted interactive sessions on antibiotic stewardship, self-medication risks, proper storage of medicines, and the importance of completing prescribed courses. Pamphlets in Punjabi and Hindi were distributed and a toll-free helpline was publicised.
