About This Activity
This comprehensive workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) equipped pharmacy students and faculty with knowledge of patent filing, trademark registration, trade secrets, and copyright protection as they apply to pharmaceutical innovations. The session was conducted by a registered patent agent who walked participants through the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), the Indian Patent Office filing process, and real-world case studies of pharmaceutical patent disputes and strategies.
